Beach Wedding Ceremony

Living in Sydney we are so blessed with our amazing beaches. They present the ideal location for a fun filled, relaxed yet elegant wedding ceremony, where the backdrop of the ocean waves is the ultimate scenery, requiring little styling to make it your own!

A beach wedding ceremony sand rituals will captivate your guests as they witness the joining of your two lives and the uniting of all. A wedding sand ceremony or otherwise called "Blending of the Sands" ceremony can be a beautiful and meaningful alternative to the more traditional "Unity Candle" ceremony. Like a Unity Candle, the pouring of two different coloured sands together is used to symbolise the joining of the bride and groom or the joining of their families.

As a Sydney civil marriage celebrant I will create a ceremony that captures who you are as a couple. I will get to know you so you feel confident your wedding ceremony will be one you’ll remember for all your life. I'd love to meet with you both during our first appointment to discuss your thoughts, wishes and ideas so I can create a civil marriage ceremony tailored to suit your every wish.

As a civil wedding celebrant, I am authorised by law to solemnise marriages in Australia. As an authorised civil marriage celebrant I am qualified to take you through the legal and the creative process of planning your marriage.

On your wedding day, at least two witnesses must be present in addition to an authorised civil marriage celebrant. In a civil wedding ceremony, your vows or promises are the crux of the marriage ceremony.

Time spent giving thought and care to those promises, making sure they are honest and meaningful, is one of the most valuable things you can do for your wedding day and your future marriage.

"The professional and intimate way that you helped us by giving us space; (right down till the last minute before the actual day to write up our script and get it to you!), and the confidence you instilled in us by your patience and directions leading up to, and on the day was greatly, greatly appreciated. It was everything we had wanted it to be.

Thanks for being part of something very important to us!"

Seaton Mepham, Sydney July 2015

Writing your own wedding vows has become increasingly popular for this reason. It is not too hard to do. Simply take time to think about what you consider is really special in your relationship and what you really love about your partner.

The wedding ceremony is the most precious part of the day, even though it is over before you know it; that is why it is very important you feel comfortable with the civil wedding celebrant you’ve selected.

I hope that you place this trust in me as your civil marriage celebrant for your very special day.
